Turning something normal and an essential part of all living organisms, John Slemensek and Tom Williamson used their lunchtime to create an art performance. In the front seating area of Broadcasting Place (Leeds Metropolitan University) the table was decorated and the food was served in a sophisticated manner, emulating a restaurant situation. The meals were prepared in advance, different recipes each day, and the performance of eating commenced. Thus creating a peculiar performance where the normal activity of eating had been stylized but in a contrasting environment.
